Infinix HotNote X551 Review

Infinix HotNote X551 Review

With all the many smart phone brands are mushrooming in Pakistan, Infinix is a good addition. Infinix officially launched in Pakistan with Daraz.pk (press release) as their online storefront.

Infinix Pakistan has entered the market with their HotNote device with some bustling specs. The Infinix HotNote has an Octa-core 1.4GHz Processor, coupled with 1 GB of RAM, 8 MP back camera with LED Flash and a 2 MP front camera.

Phone Design

The Hot Note is an ergonomic build and can be operated with one hand, with a smaller footprint. The feel is premium with a slim body design and chrome textured back cover. The phone is designed in France and so the claim “French Designed” is rightfully so.

The device comes in 4 color variations; mint green, anthracite grey, champagne gold and copper brown.

Display and Resolution

A 5.5″ 720p display with a pixel density of 267 Pixels per Inch (PPI) – the display is sharp and bright. The colors come out vibrant with an excellent outdoor visibility. Good for games or videos.

Perfomance and Battery

Infinix HotNote carries a non-removable 4000 mAh battery (quite big enough) which can serve you for two days. This is one of the unique selling point that sure as hell will attract an extensive user. I’ve used it for past few days as my secondary phone on WiFi with apps like Twitter, Instagram, Google Hangouts, Facebook Chat, WhatsApp etc. Although these apps use up a lot of battery juice running in the background, the phone is a smooth sail for the first 36 hours without a worry to charge it.

One more noticeable feature is the optimization of system configuration and hardware is it doesn’t heat up! So you won’t have that unexpected warm pocket while the processor is busy doing its work or burning ears/cheeks during long calls.

Accessories

The phone comes with a Super Fast Charger which gives a zero to full charge in 55 minutes. A 20 minute charge can give you enough juice to get through a typical 7 hour run. Now that’s awesome!

A decent quality white headgear that will last for a while, comes in the box.
